A safe escape route

The Tikli escape ladder is a safe solution in every sense. It is recommended by the Finnish National Rescue Association (FINNRA). (Statement 10/98). The locking device makes it impossible to climb an unopened ladder. The ladder may be released from any floor, and this does not prevent subsequent opening from upper floors.

An invisible escape ladder

An invisible escape ladder

The Tikli escape ladder is almost invisible. The building next door was equipped with two escape ladders. It is almost impossible to see the closed ladder despite its natural aluminium surface. It is also possible to match the colour of the ladder to that of the wall. We powder coat them in RAL colours.

Capacity

The ladder provides a fast escape route. The capacity of the ladders is for two persons every two meters - as many as it possible to fit in. (VTT study report VAL 42-980728).

Equally handy and discreet on small houses

The Tikli escape ladder is a convenient and safe escape route for 1-storey houses as well. Powder coated in a colour matching the wall they are almost invisible.

Technical information

Technical information

The Tikli escape ladder is manufactured from Finnish aluminium type AL MgSi0,5 F22. All screws and rivets are made of stainless steel. The rung interval is 300mm. The ladder is anchored to the wall at 1500mm intervals. The ribbed rungs provide secure footing and a good grip for the hands. The length of the ladder elements can be tailored to fit the building.

Installation

Mounting the ladder on a small house is no problem for the home handyman. On higher buildings, the job must be done by a professional, if only because of the height of the wall. Detailed instructions are included with every ladder.
